Artist's Description

This is part of the Swiss Wall series of paintings by Pete Caswell and it is full of textures, colours and some crazy skiers. On the Swiss side it is Le Pas de Chavanette, also known as the "Mur Suisse" or "Swiss Wall", above Les Crosets and Champery Champoussin.
The Swiss Wall on the French side sits above Morzine and Avoriaz. Its a great painting giving a wonderful perception of depth and height with some funny crazy skiers on the lifts and a few on the Swiss Wall. Use the zoom in feature with mouse over to check out some of the details. Although something is not quite right here. I did zoom in and it looks like I must have captured a rare moment with no one upside down or minus any skis and poles skidding down on their butts. Get this one while you can and take a smooth crash free ski down this great mountain. Ot of course I may have just forgotten to put them in as I do usually love to put a few upside down skiers out of harms way at the edges.
