Description
Just round the headland from the studio is yet another beautiful beach on the West Coast of the UK called Croyde bay. A small picturesque village with a wonderful pub, leads through the fields and sand dunes to an idyllic beach with the most incredible sunsets. I have traveled the world many times over and this place takes the number one spot for sunsets, they are truly spectacular. Very detailed oil painting of 2 benches overlooking the bay with the surf rolling in. Grassy dunes to the right. A beautiful headland in the distance. To the foreground is the path to the beach and flowering hay meadows to the side. If you can get some fish and chips from nearby Braunton, passing my studio on the way and sit on these 2 benches overlooking the crashing waves. With probably the best Fish and Chips in the world from my favourite chippy, you may wonder if you have gone to heaven and back. And you may well have.
