Description
Heading into one of my favourite resorts in Colorado on Coonskin near Coonskin lift and the Free Gondola. I do love this resort. It has the most stunning mountains and such beautiful weather and landscapes. Blessed with a good distance from any major cities makes this my favourite in this state. I like skiing and snowboarding but I like it best of all with an empty trail and no queues. Lots of trees, lots of colours, a steep trail and some tiny lifts make up lots of detail in this painting as you drop into Telluride town.
Being brought up in the old fashioned Alps, this place really did stump me at first with what I call a cowboy style town and skiing combined, it really just did not compute. But over time i grew to love the unbelievable scenery and wilderness of Southern Colorado. Probably one of my most memorable trips I ever made to this area as part of a tour of New Mexico, Southern Colorado and Nevada. It was like a new world.
