Description
Wonderful painting in tribute to the Great Grande Motte glacier at Tignes and Val d'Isere in France. Lots of texture and colours make this a really lively and exciting painting with a lot going on as there always in at the junction of all these lifts and pistes. Which way are you going to go? Will you be braving the queue to the Grande Motte cable car? Of course you will as its quite incredible and then a diversion off to Leisse in some knee deep powder is so much fun.
Skiers and boarders putting on their skis and boards with the people in 3d texture and lots of colour. And look there isn't a queue how lucky is that ! And I think they have just opened Leisse after a deep fall of powder whoopee. Maybe I'll skip the coffee and go ski (or board as its powder).
For those of you that practice Yoga when I look at the painting it is as if the mountain is doing a Salutation to the Sun
