Description
Such beautiful warm colours in this sunset. Warm crimson red, yellows and blues work together perfectly. One of my favourite sunsets, a but of a Motif for me. Near to the studio is Saunton Beach and Croyde beach which in Autumn get the most amazing sunsets. As the tide goes out it leaves a thin film of water on the sand which acts like a perfect mirror. This gives you two sunsets for the price of one as the sunset is perfectly reflected in the sand. Saunton beach just over the dunes from the studio is a real iconic beach and not just for its sunsets. It features on album covers, films, pop videos and of course the amazing long board wave that it produces. This painting has lots of luscious texture and two surfers returning from a day in the waves
