Description
In between the flakes of snow a great peace a beauty sings out in silence. Contemplation on the lift without a sight in the world. All is quiet, all is muffled.....until mayhem is let loose at the top and buckets of powder, pants of ice and gloves cuffed with snow....upside down, and side to side, or just slick cruising through the endless fields of total wonder. So much fun I cannot describe it. Where is it ? I cannot tell, goggles full of snow and a blizzard blowing, it really all looked the same. But it was above Morzine and Les Gets, below Avoriaz. I will have a look later to see if I can pin down the name of the lift, but don't hold out your hopes. Acrylic on canvas 40 x 30 x 1.7cm
