Description
Stunning oil painting of three sailing boats sailing into the setting sun. This is a very interesting painting with its impressionist style and a myriad of complex colours laid one on top of the other. The beautiful crimson red and ultramarine blue are set off beautifully by the gold leaf forming the light in the centre of the painting. The central light of the sun is formed from various grades of gold leaf from 10 carrot gold all the way to rich yellow 24ct.
